Opening hours during the Apostolic Journey
Due to a Holy Father’s journey in Hungary the Basilica’s opening hours will change between 27th-30th of April, 2023.

Holy Father's Meeting with official religious persons in St Stephen’s Basilica. Visitors will be welcome to attend at the square in front of the Basilica, where the meeting is planeed to be broadcast on screeens.
29th of April- Saturday
For tourist the church hall can be visited free between 09.00-17.30. Treasury and Panoramic Terrace can be visited with tickets between 09.00-19.00. Ticket office is open till 18.30.
30th of April- Sunday
9:30 am: Holy Mass on Lajos Kossuth Square, homily by the Holy Father

Between 27th-30th of April the online ticket system is not available, you can buy ticket in the ticket office, next to the Basilica.
